Sharps

We can provide containers and collections of your non-infectious sharps. These will be housed in sharps boxes with orange or yellow lids containing sufficient absorbent material to retain any free-flowing liquids. EWC (not 18 01 03).

Offensive Waste

Offensive waste is non-infectious solid offensive healthcare waste including non-infectious swabs and dressings, plaster casts, stoma bags, incontinence pads, nappies, sanitary waste from healthcare and disposable medical material. We can provide yellow sacks and collections of these as required.

Hazardous Waste

Infectious solid clinical waste can contain swabs and dressings from infectious disease, contaminated waste from treatment areas and laboratory cultures contained in orange sacks or weva bins. We can provide both orange bags, weva bins and collections to suit your business.

Cytotoxic Waste

We can provide yellow bags with purple stripes or containers with purple lids for cytotoxic or cytostatic medicines (or unsegregated medicines), contaminated sharps, swabs and dressings that have been used for chemotherapy or other cell treatments.

Amalgam Waste from Dental Care

We can dispose of precious waste from mechanical treatment of dental waste containing dangerous substances used with dental care processes. These chemicals are present in fixer and developer treatments. We can provide gypsum waste containers to dispose of your gypsum-based waste.
